I appreciate your offer, but the pre-conditions you impose tell me you aren't the one to lead such an effort. I didn't start out suing and cussing. For years I waited patiently on Nimrod, only to have him stab his sister and me in the back. You can't go into battle not knowing who you face. People like John don't have the kind of honor you expect...in fact I think you'd be quite shocked at what he's really like and run out the room screaming.
If it were as simple as all that it would have been done long ago. You have to be prepared to deal with people as they demand, and John asked for it.
I'm tired of being "good"...I'm tired of being scolded. Let John and the rest of them look to themselves...let them check their own behavior before they, and you, require me to lay my head on the chopping block. I'm afraid Assyrian Christians have had the "fight" knocked out of them, except at parties. Perhaps it's better you don't get involved in things unless you have the determination to stick around when the going gets rough. Better to go in the door on your feet, no matter how bruised and battered, than to crawl in.
