Shakespeare wrote that line for Shylock, the Jew, who made that speech .. "hath not a Jew eyes??..etc." What a good play.. I belive it's called the Merchant of Venice. I read it last year in "World Masterpieces" class.
I hate to admit it, but I am a former republican. (gasp!) The past few months and years have been an eye opener for me. It started with my interest about ending the sanctions, and culminated with the Sept. 11 attacks and our people's horrible attitudes toward ourselves, trying to "pass for white" because they don't want to be discriminated against... and other things... but thanks for the compliments.
