I think what you are describing is happening at the Woomera(sp?) detention centre located in Western Australia. The place is isolated and in the middle of the desert. I read it on the BBC webpage. Did I get that right David? By the way, David et. al. , you guys are awesome and pretty ingenious too with how you got the names of the refugees in Melbourne even though you couldn't get past the gate.
