First of all, we are all humans. After that we break down into sub groups...and some go furhter into sub-human. To me every child is an Assyrian or an English child...makes no difference. They are all innocent, all precious, with no intrinsic claim to any more or less sympathy and protection. We just happen to be of the Assyrian, Chaldean, Mediterranean, Mesopotamian sub group and our heritage is a gift entrusted to us to preserve and maintain for the greater enjoyment and benefit of those protecting their own special heritages...who preserves their for our enjoyment and benefit.
My grandfather said he was Chaldean...I believe him. I say I am Assyrian...it would be nice to be believed. But it doesn't matter what others say...I am Assyrian because I act the part and work for the Heritage and culture. My Grandfather didn't owe anyone any proof...and Fred Aprim has never offered any proof that he is Assyrian...and there isn't any.
I accept us all. Chaldean or Assyrian...makes no difference to me so long as I work to save that region from these petty distinctions and jealousies that are tearing it apart...often with the vindictive help and blessings of pygmies among us who would rather see it all destroyed if it can't be the way they think it should be.
