let me clarify my stance... some reproductions can be made w/ machines, some need a lot of genius to ressurect them (& these take a lot of time, patience, imagination, study, & skill, since the originals are not well studied & known & are badly worn, decayed, etc.). however, to make such difficult reproductions, then the artist, who has a natural (interpretive) bias, is obviously going to affect the reproduction. so, to pancho i say this: i did not mean to imply that you are a "retard" or "machine" for making reproductions of ancient Assyrian pieces - these things take time, dedication, & study (unlike, say, reproductions of the "Mona Lisa"); i merely meant to point out that you are human & that you have a valuable gift - this gift comes with certain insights & visions that not everyone will agree with. that is the outcome of art, i feel... but this should not be held against you.
