it does not always have to be one vs. its opposite. i think this is the fundamental problem with online discussions: they lack the body language, eye contact, & tone of voice that are so fundamental to effective human communication. how can i be sarcastic? or will i be taken seriously when i'd like to be? this is mainly why i'm a bit of a luddite. i don't like the sterility & the coldness of the online discussion world. so, goodbye all. i'm sticking to the various impersonal news sources i respect from now on.
