parhad,

This is unpleasant surprise to me, I do not know how did you decide to go to Mexico, but you sounded like you have studied the move before you made it. Any way we all make mistakes, and you have been facing people who will not hesitate to destroy people life for their narrow interest
You still some one who has a very rare talents, and a lot of determination. As a starter put up the price of the pieces you want to sell, people like to see that to make a decision, and advertise your pieces at different places to get the best price (there have to be some rich Amirs in the Gulf who likes to collect art, from a UAE site or from e-bay. If not send letters to A hotel chains with pictures of your art.
I think you would be better coming back to the US, and take some type of a steady job related to art, like teaching sculpture, to get steady income, and you can continue with your art work on the side, until these people
who are blocking you from reaching your natural market stop doing that. so in summary my advise to you is
- Mexico is not good for you, and your children future.
- Advertise, what you are selling.
- Steady job provide steady income, and having children need steady income, not an income which depends on the mood of Assyrian Art lovers, and Assyrian leadership lovers.
There are people who work in teaching who are half as smart, and capable as you are.
Good luck for you.

: I am stuck down here in Mexico with three children to care for. Between Jackie, Atour, Janey and John Nimrod, my career is over. All I can do now is try to ride out the storm until the trial. I came here with Janey Golani{s promise ringing in my ear...she told me not to worry, that she had several donors lined up, even corporate ones. Then I got here and they want me to sign a contract giving them full rights to the Hammurabi...this from a man who has already shown how little he understands or cares for my work...the same guy who took three of my sculptures to Ford, had them welded the way he thought best, and now lies about it, saying the work was done in his garage by a neighbor.

: I am as broke as I have ever been. I am going to make offers to people I always refused to make before. If humiliating me and wrecking my career was their intention, they have about achieved it. I never gave discounts on my sculpture because I wanted to have one of us NOT make cheap things. But I am forced to now. If you know of anyone who wants any of my sculptures for half price...tell them I am ready to make them deals they wouldnt get otherwise. This is no joke.
