I think the United States should pay the Lithuaninas to blind the children of the Latvians...then try to broker a truce between the two parties. When that fails...cause of all of those blind kids wanting compensation...we could declare the blind kids and their parents Terrorists...especially if they got a little huffy about it. That way we'd have even more to fear from people strangely "envious" of our own sighted children...and Ashcroft could be even more of an American patrot and the Drag Queen of Chaldea would have job security and we could all be safe some more.

Sounds plausible to me.
