In large part it was religion that broke the things you now think you can fix with more and new and improved religion. It is a contradiction in terms. By the time you``ve killed off enough brain cells to tolerate the introduction...you haven``t enough left to find your way home.
The doctor who brings the disease may indeed have a cure to sell you as well...but you could have avoided the experience altogether by just not answering the door when the sick fuck showed up.
