: Besides it isn't a manifesto I want to write...just a letter of inquiry, and only mildly, a suggestion that maybe we need to call a national rally in Washington DC or somewhere to be held in a year or so...a chance to get speakers and allow people to make plans. Dear Sane organizations,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the tremendous work that you do. As you already know, our nation is headed down a path which will lead to much death and destruction. I would like to suggest that we take a step in the opposite direction, and plan a rally with your organizations in Washington to protest the following:
· The Sanctions on Iraq
· Insert more here...or just stick to the sanctions?
I believe that a large rally, demonstration, strike, or massive protest will be the best way to educate the American pubilc about what "our" government is doing in their names... and it would be the best way of furthering your/our cause.
