Interesting. Anyone who questioned Johnson at the time he dragged us off to kill innocent and unoffending Vietnamese was branded a traitor, someone who did not love America, or carefor young American soldiers about to put their lives on the line for "us". Turns out that the people who really loved their country tried to stop it from committing murder and killing off thousands of its own young men.

The same climate has been created in America and it is just as much of a lie and a fabrication as was Lyndon Johnson's claim that a US warship had been attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin. Anyone who loves America or Australia...who respects the rule of Law and simple human decency would be appalled at the way refugees are being treated...at the way people in "rogue" nations are being treated...at the way international Robber Barons have found to infiltrate and buy national politicians so they can use the resources of those countries for their own business gains...such as Occidental Oil getting the Bush Firm to authorize the training of Colombian troops to protect Occidental's pipeline.

Those who really love their country...speak out before the damage is done.
