You are right, of course. But a non-bitch can find herself in situations that will make her act in bitchy ways. Atour should never have allowed himself to get roped into supporting Jackie's knockers. And Janey, as his loyal wife, should have smacked him upside the head with her best frying pan and warned him not to.

Atour works at Ford with pros...they work by consensus and all that good stuff. He thought to bring his managerial skills to work on a bunch of half literate cannibals who welcomed him as their new president at a feast during which they started feeding off of HIM. And they're at it still.

He has accomplished nothing but his own you think anyone anywhere will ever hear of the committee he chaired anywhere? All we do is wince and hope to god his typewriter breaks. The one decent thing he could have done...was work to get the Hammurabi completed. That would have been a worthy legacy for the man, and his wife.

Instead they have the grim satisfaction of stopping the Hammurabi he could appease the Jackster. Janey is trying to maintain his dignity for him, he's done such a poor job of doing it himself. I don't blame her at all. But it would have been far better for us all, him included, if she'd a smacked him one and tried to wake him up to what he was about to do.
