The idea of a Christian Iraq, or an enclave of Christians in some corner of it is untenable. There is no way, given this most recent Crusade that any nest of Christians is going to be able to do much more than cower behind closed doors. Unless of course they want to behave like most sane people and downplay their religion...it's supposed to be a private affair. It gets blown out of all proportion when it dominates government...the very reason we want to keep it from doing so in America.

The best we can hope for those youngsters is that they leave...like we all did. It's a little weird for us to be helping them by keeping them in a country we are also helping to attack. Not clear on the concept I'd say.

Let them leave...let them come to America and build their churches...that's what this fuss is all about isn't it? We insist they be able to establish themselves as some sort of Christian power...or be treated equally, or as a respected minority...when they've seen their best days gone a long time ago.

The Assyrian Heritage, not religious...will go on just fine there, as it has been all these centuries.

Save the Christians of Iraq...bring them to Phoenix and let them build a church and be Assyrians at last.
