It's not like people haven't fought wars for other reasons...but ever since Europe contracted and went looking for colonies and empires from which they could rob and to whom they could sell...forestalling their development as competitors...we've been taken to slaughter by Industrialists and Financiers posing as patriots, politicians and Statesmen.
The ruse should be pretty easy to see through by now, but we have a lot of people who take comfort from having others lead them and think for them...and in the end wind up lying to them and betraying all of us, the Veterans most of all.
If not today, if not this war...then someday soon I hope that will become abundantly...painfully clear.
The people of the world are our friends, not our enemies. Some are using religion and patriotism to line their own pockets...and they're also the ones helping make your children so damn stupid and drug addled...just like Mom and Dad.
It's funny, it really is.
