there are actually 4 cookbooks available, or at least I have 4. The first on is the one called "Assyrian Mothers Cookbook" and it was authored by Helen Schwarten of the AUA foundation.

The next one I have is called "Recipes for the Assyrian Palette" it is authored by Nineva Ishaya" who is the Daughter of Dr. Arian Ishaya" in San Jose.

The 3rd one is called "The Exquisite Babylonian Cuisine" and it was authored by Julia Najor, right here in Detroit.

The last one I have is called "Treasured Middle Eastern Cookbook" and it was done by Samira Yako Choulagh who also lives in Detroit.

All 4 of the books are absolutely beautiful and is filled not only with mouth watering very fattening delicious Assyrian recipes but also with tons of information on the different villages, clothing, customs, and ingredients used in Assyrian Cooking.

The first 2 books are actually more Assyrian oormi style cooking from Iran and the latter 2 are more Assyrian Chaldean style cooking from Iraq.

Regardless of origin, they are all valuable to me and if you send me an email I will help you in obtaining 1 or all of these books. jgolani@comcast.net.

Bon Apetit!!! or should I say Naneloukh!!
