No one is telling Christians or Buddhists or Muslims they canīt practise their religion and hump their gods all they want to. In its infinite wisdom the Constitution merely states the obvious, learned at great cost from watching Christian Europeans butcher themselves over significant things like, "is Christ two for one this week or one for all" (YOU try making sense of it!).
All it says is that religion shall not intrude on government and in return government wont intrude on it.
Remember...the "under god" bit was added later...the originator of the pledge, a religious worker himself...would have been horrified at the inclusion of god, made during such another hysterical time in the 50īs, because once you let one of them in...the others will start a Holy War...look around you dammit...you really think we can handle MORE gods?
