...just who brought this "misery" to Iraq?
"Before we, in the West, become too judgmental of our co-religionists living under Muslim rule, I believe we need to understand the world Iraqi Christians inhabit. It is a brutal world of few good choices, and many potential dangers. Theirs is a truly desperate plight,
***Someone tell the gentleman that before the West came there Iraq had an enviable lifestyle...for all of its citizens...that Iraq only just emerged from the crumbling and then paranoid rule of the Ottomans, who were also about to be raided and chopped up by the same West...that a few years after emerging from British Colonial Rule, America was not a country any of us would have recognized...and finally that it was precisely because the MidEast contains the potential to beat the West at its own game...selling it gooey oil in return for hard cash with which Sheikhs could have soon bought Disneyland several times over..that all theis hell was brought to those people.
The West has brought the disease and has the nerve to suggest the cure as well.
