That's right, Negroponte - walk your ass right out of the UN meetings. It's not as if the U.S. gov't *really* gives a shit what reps from other nations have to say (unless those nations' representatives agree with the U.S. gov't).

I hate Negroponte - the man helped the U.S. gov't screw over Central America (see link below). I cut what he had to say out of the article below, since I don't believe in giving him free speech.

US envoy walks out of Iraqi ambassador's UN speech

UNITED NATIONS, March 27 (Reuters) - Washington's U.N. ambassador walked out of a Security Council debate on Iraq on Thursday after Baghdad's ambassador said the United States and Britain wanted to exterminate the Iraqi people.

"I did sit through quite a long part of what he had to say, but I think I'd heard enough after a certain amount of time," U.S. Ambassador John Negroponte told reporters outside the Security Council chamber after walking out.

Iraqi U.N. Ambassador Mohammed Aldouri, speaking at the close of a two-day emergency session of the 15-nation council, said the United States, Britain and Australia were "about to start a real war of extermination that will kill everyone and destroy everything."

Noting that Washington and London, short of votes, withdrew a draft Security Council resolution earlier this month calling on Baghdad to show its willingness to disarm or face war, Aldouri said the two nations had "tried to use another form of achieving their objectives" in launching an invasion.

"And I think this is a British vision, because they are well known for their trickery," Aldouri said. "They kill a person and then they shed crocodile tears, and then they go to his funeral."
