: Something's wrong. There are too many civilian casualties, too far from military targets, for all of these to be mistakes. Either they're hitting civilians on purpose, to whip up fear in the hope of spurring rebellion, or their weapons are not as precise as they say, in which case they're not suitable for use in an urban environment. There's no justification for using any weapons here, but if you can't hit a military target without causing civilian casualties, you don't have the right to attack it.

xxx The weapons are not as precise as they say they are. Ask my mom, who worked in the defense industry (she has a PhD in theoretical physics) for many years & even caught & turned in a boss for government fraud - he was using fake data to sell shoddy products to the gov't. I'm telling you, the U.S. military couldn't precision guide those missiles to hit my ass.... &, furthermore, my mom quit her job & decided to get early retirement when she figured out that their next project would involve DU weapons - & she's too much of an environmentalist to want to contribute anything to the manufacture of those sorts of weapons. She was saying - long, LONG before all the research showed this - that depleted uranium has too high radioactive content to be used on conventional weapons.
