In Baghdad, the hospital director reported that some patients had been raped [during a looting incident].
I can't believe that we're not signing petitions online to try to get this activity, the looting of the hospitals, to end. OR that we're not signing petitions online in support of massive amounts of U.S. aid (not in the form of loans, of course) going to Iraq. I know history is important, & so are antiquities, but what does it matter when people are dying.... the very people who have stuck it out bravely in Iraq for so many years & who deserve more than concern about their heritage? What about their lives RIGHT NOW.
