Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Sorry, I have not had the chance to come on this wonderful discussion board in quite a long time. I would just like to say that I was reading the magazine "Archaeology" today, and I came upon something interesting. It stated that Baghdad museum was one of the first targets of the air strikes simply because it was approximately 300 feet from the Iraqi Communication link and the Radio and Television Center. It showed this extravagant winged bull and a statue of Ashurnasirpal II. It was marvelous, but sadly, it was looted. Some remaining pieces of the artifacts had somehow ended up in Jordan. When I have the chance, I will post the article up.
