If only I had the time and patience I would have read this article thoroughly. I am much too busy however, but without knowing exactly what this article pertains to, I would like to say a simple few words:
Cuba is self-sufficient even after the embargo has been in place for more than 40 years. The US has been trying to get other South and Central American and some weak-hearted spineless EU countries to side against Cuba. Few resist this movement, including Venezuela, which just recently received kind operations directed from the US theater of operations in an attempt to take Venezuelan oil for themselves. This because Venezuela is not so easily controlled. And the fact that it is supportive of Cuba as well. The propoganda on TV about people hating Chavez is showing only the wealthier and higher middle class. The major population(the hard working class) support him openly. Cuba has now been listed as a terrorist state, and is accused of having biological weapons. This is not true. Now the US will be trying to take a more active role against the island nation due to backing from the powerful Miami organizations headed by the Cuban-American sect.
