Well... I was going to post an article about Iraq and Syria, but decided not to because it was too boring to read. Nevertheless! Fear not!! for I will provide your entertainment...
In regard to the current situation in Iraq: There has been no significant progress on either side(US or Iraq), no matter how much either side plays the winner, when there has been no real war yet. Saddam Hussein pulled forces out of many cities who were defending the south because of restrategising underway. He left Baghdad willingly to fight again later- and the current captures of some officials does not mean the end of anything, merely just that, that some officials have been captured. We have yet to see what really happens. Who knows, maybe we won't see anything for another two years or more.
