Ode to Mahayana.

I dreamt of you last night,
You were the moon.
Glistening in your genius,
Subtle in your silence.

Your gentle beams caressed my sunburnt skin,
And I,
Unshaken and Unstirred,
Increased in faith of our unintelligible acquaintance.

Your eloquence electrifies,
Your passion personifies and I
Surrender to your infinite beauty and insightful
Wisdom.

Your lips utter ancient truths,
Of a place I am burdened to explore.
Your fingers delicately trace my roots,
To places kept dark and hidden,
For Aeons.

Light years away and yet,
Solvent in our sibilances.
You are the incredulous metaphor,
And I but a seeming slave.

Your lexes cascade cerulean sins,
But your spiral is ascending,
Never ending…

Mahayana.

Your name breathes light into ethereal essences within and without my existence,
Your gifts transpire, extend and consume,
Created new spaces in infinite universes,
Words are meaningless as they unfold like the lines across our palms,
And yet ceaselessly conjuring verbal associations,
Brings me ever closer to
Eternal peace.

Inti kal qammar,
Inti ya 3omri,
Inti khayali,
Inti ma3aya,
For eternity.

Heaven will not rest until she cradles you in her arms.

Mahayana.

My tears sting and become diamonds in your radiant light.
Crevices that dare not speak,
Bubbles that dare not burst,
Like the flutter of faeries' wings,
Like twinkling jewels in boundless oceans.

Brought me to a place where words can no longer verbalise,
Where tales can no longer fathom expressions,
Muted and yet roaring,

Mahayana the moon.
