: In keeping with Fred Parhad's patriotic spirit, he has made the official forum colors red & blue on a basic background of white. As one can see here, the black type is for unimportant words, & the blue, hyper-linked text signifies importance.

: NOW, moving on to the next piece...

xxx Oh, wait. Question in the back. Yes?

mumble, mumble, mumble, wah-wah-wah, blah-blah-blabbity-blah.

xxx Oh, your question is about the significance of the red to blue change, or "shift" as it is properly termed. Art historians have speculated about this point for several years now. All I can say is: we don't know. Any more questions? Ah, good. Moving on.... This next work is entitled, the "The Great Sphincter." Now, many experts in the field believe that in this work, Fred is referring to an unidentified German man we only know as Andreas. Note the HUGE swirls of meaningless phrases, all seemingly being sucked into a black hole in the center of the painting. Note, also, the great indifference one feels toward the subject as one stares blankly at the piece. This is the effect that was intended by the great master, of course....
