I read the news today, oh boy

Well, I didn't actually.

I was going to the bank and I happened to pass by a news stand on the side walk. The big bold headline read "WAR IN IRAQ DID NOT COST AS MUCH AS PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT"... hmm, that's positive. What a great war, eh! Makes you forget about all of that "weapons of mass destruction" mumbo-jumbo, doesn't it?

Then, later I walked by a television and I hear "Today, Iraqi citizens spit on and threw garbage on American troops stationed for OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM..." and when I heard that I just got the feeling that those damn Iraqi's don't appreciate what we are doing for them. Who do they think they are?? Jesus.

What's this world coming to? Or, better yet, what's this country coming to?
