Turkey wants Iraq land in the north, in a sense reclaiming its older territories, under the older nation, that is. What's in it for Armenia? And back to the subject, why is the US so interested in returning what Turkey considers "its land"? Because of business, and oil. The southeast of Turkey is considered by the US as economically valuable, extending into northern Iraq.
