: : How does the AANF think it will stay alive if it can not recruit more members or willing participants at its conventions? I have heard from at least 2 different sources that there are a LOT of people who are upset about the registration fee. That means that the AANF loses customers.

:
: ***I sat with Jackie at her kitchen table...trying to keep her cheeks from spilling over onto me...when she hit on the idea of charging the fee as a way to weed out undesirables...without actually having to say, "You, get out"...they would just impose a fee that would supposedly keep away the young riff raff.

xxx I'm not "riff-raff," I'll say that much, but I like some "riff-raff," & I'd make friends with more "riff-raff" anyday if they're sensible people. To tell the truth, I have enough money to go to the convention, but I don't think the price is worth it. I don't WANT to give my money to them, esp. since they supported that blasted attack so openly. Who are the AANF leaders? Who the fuck knows what the AANF is outside of the community? Ask any of my non-Assyrian friends - they don't know what the hell the AANF is! So what if Bush meets them once in a blue moon? My uncle's close friend is a neighbor of the Bushes! He can go over there & chat with the Bushes if he really wants to! These people are sooooo goddamn impressed with themselves, it seems, ESPECIALLY if Bush looks at them cross-eyed. & you know, the media is starting to hint at impeaching the bastard, already. Let's see if Bush lasts another election.
