for a movie. It'd be about these kids in high school, only ALL the girls look exactly the same & ALL the boys look exactly the same - Barbies & Kens with many identical twins, but with different names attached, of course.... & they wear different clothes. BUT, it's a film about a particular girl who falls in love with a particular boy - & even though they are EXACTLY the same as the other kids of their respective genders at the school, they can ONLY be in love with each other. So, the girl, who can't ever tell which guy is her boyfriend by looking at the crowd of guys, can only distinguish him when she calls out his name & he answers, & vice versa.... It would be kind of ridiculous.... Which is EXACTLY the point I'm trying to make about our mass-marketed pop culture....
