xxx You're right, but I think many people in the States aren't very educated about historical events.... It's on purpose - keeping the citizens brainwashed with propaganda allows the rich in a "democracy" like ours to continue perpetuating the corrupt system that actually exists. If the citizens "support" something the government does - even if the premise for taking that action is rooted in faulty logic that is, to further complicate the issue, based on lies - why, isn't that the way a "democracy" works?
