In his most recent television series, THE SACRED BALANCE, Suzuki discusses how human beings are intimately connected to all life processes on Earth.

***That`s the most damning thing about the Judo-Christo-Islo ethic...it places puny Man...and they mean MAN, at the top of everything. The world exists for His pleasure...he is god`s darling and especial joy. Besides which this is just a vale of tears and then of noxious fumes, toxic gasses and a few more reasons to be quit of this "shallow existence" and go UP THERE where the air may or may not be clean.

And you can understand why them Hebrews felt this way...as they stood up and looked around that desolate sheepshit hillside...a place where they didn`t have to worry about or even think about water, clean air, trees, fruit or anything besides wild honey and bugs for food. Naturally...feeling slighted by Nature, they came up with an ethic that makes war on nature and all her creations...

God Kills...it`s that simple.
