xxx By "American" values, I mean the ones the media teaches us, not the good American values.... I don't know how else to clarify this - I have American friends who are not "American" in the vulgar, stupid way the media tries to make everyone become.... These people are American in a different sense - a more democratic, earthy, intelligent & loving sense. So, it seems like a lot of the Assyrians in the States have been influenced negatively by the media here, instead of enjoying the other American values that I would deem to be good. Does that make sense?
