Decades after the last summer camp closed in Poland, Jews have begun their own. A Mr. BenGurion Airport says, "it's high time Israelis realized that life behind concertina wire and electrified fences wasn't so bad. It kept us together and kept the outsiders out."
Amid concerns for their safety, Israelis this week decided it would be best to surround themselves with barbed wire once again and settle in to a safe and secure period after years of exposure and uncertainty. Foreigners were asked to leave, children rounded up from cities around Europe and sent to Camp Israel where they will live in peace.
One Palestinian wag was heard to say..."Yullah...if that's what they wanted they could have stayed in Europe...those people know how to round up Jews."
