The Israelis have themselves created the pre-condition for what Sharon says they suffer now...with US help of course.
If I attack my neighbor for forty years...steal his property and give it to members of my family...I'll eventually make a madman of him and he will retaliate...the Jews and America retaliate...and I can yell that he's a "terrorist".
Radical islam has had its fires stoked by the United States for years now...every nut case mullah was a victory...every Settlement a deliberate provocation...how else could Israel expand its borders if NOt through war and violence...it just couldn't be seen as an "aggressive" war...it had to be set up as acts of "self-defense" etc.
I know everyone knows this and it's old hat...but it is going on just the same with consequences that will hit us all in the bottom line and become the paranoid landscape we will raise our children in...we MAKE it all happen...and just to enrich some few...and in that sense it is OUR fault because we are all of us in that same mad pursuit for more and more money...we live in the atmosphere after all.
