My method for ending the war and bringing a lasting peace would work...it's just too much all at once...too stark...too honest...too much of what is really going on anyway.
This piece-meal butchery is acceptable to people because it's like a lottery, or Russian Roulette..."maybe you'll make it back alive, and maybe you wont. Maybe your kid will come back from school that day, and maybe she wont...maybe your mother will get to keep both legs, and maybe she wont".
This has to be one of the most heinous atrocities ever committed against a captive group of people so damn desperate they can only manage to kill themselves and take others with them. Tell me the Palestinians don't want Peace...it's the Israelis who don't...it's their fanatical leadership who all learned about Leibenstraum from the Nazis who've been using Settlements as a means of expanding their borders...what Palestinian man or woman wouldn't prefer to be as well armed as the Israelis are and meet somewhere far away from their villages to fight it out?
Of COURSE they know suicide bombers are wrong and immoral...but why should they stop when they have been rounded up in camps and occupied zones like animals...like the Jews were a few years ago...and do nothing about it?
The Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto put up a noble resistance against the Nazis...they couldn't get at the families of the Nazis and their own had all been killed or shipped off to "refugee camps". It too was a suicide mission. The Irgun bombed the King David Hotel killing civillians. No one here can claim any sort of moral high ground and the only really innocent victims are the children... if you lined the children up against a wall and started killing them methodically , with no malice at all, teddy bears in hand...you'd save lives in the end.
