xxx I'm not pitying the South, just showing you how it is -> industry takes advantage of every situation it can, any market that will tolerate the lowest wages so that profits can be maximized. No one knew the US would enter WWII, but when it did, there was an economic boom in the South, for the entire community. This nourished the people, & continues to nourish the South to this day. The only way to get Southerners to stop supporting the war industry would be to flood the South with other industries that pay better & offer better benefits, so that their job security wouldn't be compromised by voting for a candidate that is not representative of the war industry.
