I agree...it sounds like the most desirable outcome...but there is no way we can improve only the lives of the Christians in Iraq...it would just breed the same resentments between neighbors due to outside help from the same Christians who are also bombing the neighbors of the Christians in Iraq...that's an insane scenario and one that would only lead to our eventual undoing and total ouster.
Father Benny said he had to share the measely food supplies he had been sent in Georgia with the Muslims as well as the Christian Assyrians. He said a Muslim mother loves her child too...and how would it be remembered that a priest walked past the houses where Muslim children were starving to death, to deliver food to Christian babies...
People...we are all ultimately in this thing together!
