Seems to me we've had faith in that same god...and it's worked, what is this guy complaining about? We're standing at the foot of that old cross, just ready to mount up there and get nailed to it...FINALLY after all these years and all the spit and humiliation.
When this guy's children go to school, I'm sure he'll feel elated when they come in last...finally...a sure sign that things can "only improve".
