So...I send the gallery owner the names of the six sculptures I'll be taking to him next week. I suggest he look through the gallery and see what he thinks. Now, I haven't much reason of late to feel particularly good about my work. As far as the leadership of this tribe of cannibals are is concerned, I might as well have syphillis AND leprosy.
So, what's my surprise when I get this message...in caps no less...

+++I left out the name of course. Is this weird...is this a trick...a "plot"? What is this man so excited about...my dumb sculpture? The guy Peter the Rabid called a no-talent, and that was the kindest thing they said.
++++I hope they do well, naturally...but especially so Assyrians will come asking to buy, "at a discount"...family members too. Once I am okay by the white man...Germans especially...my own people will "cherish" me. To show how much they do, they can go pay three times the price at the gallery...or not. I don't care now, and I wont care then. I was doing THEM the favor...not the other way around.
