+++I agree, the best part of the conventions comes when you gather around and talk. I've often thought that a good offering would be to set aside a large room, provide some comfortable seating...coffe, tea, snacks and booze...low lighting...very quiet background music if any...and just allow people to mingle and talk. We need to form bonds and contact with each other. You can't do it at the parties cause the music is too loud and the formal banquet is too off putting.
The best times are usually had by people escaping the organized events and finding a nook or cranny somewhere to just chat. Our Leeders spend most of their time up in a suite somewhere playing poker and watching porn films...not Atour of course...I don't mean him.
Atour and janey know how to do these things...it's dealing in Art and monuments and with artists that they are without a clue. That's okay...I couldn't run a convention.
