Iraqi opposition my ass! They all but addmitted the United States was treating them like a puppet..."come here and let Uncle Sam tell you what to say". The Kurds learned the hard way what the interest of the United States is in opposition groups...as did the Shite Opposition in the south. Both groups of chumps stuck their heads up, with promises of US "love" and "backing"...only to have the rug pulled out from under them. The United States helped Saddam identify those opposing him...handed them over to him, and he did what he does best.
Here they come again wooing us ditzy patriots with promises of help and support, (BUT WE'RE CHRISTIAN...)...and if they have a use for us, they'll come through, but not for our sakes. You can make these leaders of ours piss honey if you flatter them...and NOTHING gives an Assyrian man a hard-on like being able to say he's been to a meeting at the "State Department".
If the State Department wanted to meet with me...I'd tell them to take a hike. What could be more obvious proof that we're about to be used and screwed than the State Department calling one of us? Yet these leaders, so hungry for affirmation, for good grades on the report cards they want to bring home to us so we will FINALLY annoint one of them king...fall for it every time.
Here we have Peter The Vapid...so anxious to be "chosen" that he's organizing a petition to DEMAND our National Question Rights! Where do we get off demanding anything...of anyone...when we demand so little of ourselves. We really think writing confounding posts and making outrageous claims is the way these things get done...so that when some one obscure official calls us to dust his shoes...we think, "AHA...they finally saw dee troot!!!"
