Joe Tamraz is the hardest working Assyrian leader in Chicago and probably in the US. He is the midwest regional director for the Assyrian American National Federation.
He has gone with me a few times to visit Lina in the hospital and he's gone several other times on his own. It was suggested that some kind of video documentary/ tv telethon be done for Lina and Joe immediately and happily took care of that. He got photographers to videotape Lina in the hospital. Joe interviewed Lina's doctor for the video as well constantly getting updates from him on Lina's condition.
Joe has also single handedly built the Lina Nissan website that is on the AANF's site, where you can donate through paypal.
AND, he made it possible for this fundraiser to happen.
All this while planning the convention, working full time and working on other projects for the federation and other organizations. The dear David Chibo defines Assyrian as being a verb and not a noun. Joe Tamraz is an ASSYRIAN.
