: : Hi Tony,
: : That's indeed a very complex and multidimensional topic.
: : But before going from the very scratch into any biological/medical/epidemiological basics, their philosophical foundation as well as into the crucial moral problems connected with the psycho-political techniques of human behaviour manipulation and population control, I'd like to offer you the following article as a simple starter for the 1st overview and orientation on the currently raging discussion.
: : In case you should have any further and deeper interest I'd be glad to provide more background.
: : Will this answer be Ok with you?

: : RE: Smallpox Vaccination Concerns
: : Dear ACIP-NVAC and CDC Officials:
: : I am writing to you to register my strongest opposition to the proposed smallpox inoculation program as a Harvard graduate in public health (1982) and internationally known authority in biological warfare and emerging disease research.
: : My concerns transcend those legitimate issues raised by widespread opponents to smallpox vaccinations, including:
: : 1) substantial risks of common side effects from smallpox vaccination to the general public and especially immune compromised populations,
: : 2) inadequate smallpox vaccine safety testing record,
: : 3) inadequate smallpox vaccine efficacy testing,
: : 4) the availability of modern therapies to treat life-threatening complications associated with smallpox infection,
: : 5) the risk to unvaccinated populations from shedding infectious vaccinia virus for up to 21 days post vaccination,
: : 6) lacking sufficient cost/benefit studies of the proposed vaccination campaign, and most importantly,
: : 7) entirely lacking data from no risk/benefit studies having been performed on this proposed policy.
: : Must I remind CDC and public health officials that the cornerstone of legitimate public health policy legislation rest entirely on this later premise - that above all, more good should result than harm from the proposed vaccination program. To date, however, not one scientific assessment of the risk versus the benefit of smallpox vaccination has been conducted. Therefore, we simply do not know whether the proposed campaign would help and save more people that it might kill or maim. Obviously, this flies in the face of rational public health policy, and presents risks possibly more pervasive than a threatened or actual terrorist attack.
: : The recent editorial in The Lancet (Vol. 359, No. 9313; 2002) should also be considered in this regard. The editors of this most esteemed scientific journal asked, "Just how tainted has medicine become [by pharmaceutical industry payoffs]?" They concluded, "Heavily, and damagingly so," urging "doctors who support this culture for the best of intentions" to "have the courage to oppose practices that bring the whole of medicine into disrepute." This speaks directly to your decision-making concerning the proposed smallpox campaign, especially reflecting on the following information.
: : The little known fact is that the primary smallpox vaccine producers, Aventis and Baxter corporations, or their parent companies, are highly untrustworthy. They have been implicated on more than one occasion in committing genocide. Genocide is simply defined as "the mass killing of people for economic, political, and/or ideological reasons." Baxter, along with other pharmaceutical firms including Bayer, is infamous for having committed genocide against the American hemophiliac population through their known sale of HIV-contaminated blood products. Both firms settled out of court for what amounted to economically motivated genocide. As the attached organizational chart shows (Link to: http://www.tetrahedron.org/articles/anthrax/flowchart.gif) , Baxter is a subsidiary of American Home Products (AHP). AHP, like Bayer, Hoechst and BASF, is a progeny of I.G. Farben - Germanyís leading industrial organization that virtually directed the Third Reich and Hitlerís economic war engine. After World War II, I.G. Farben was primarily broken up into Bayer, Hoechst and BASF companies. Aventis is a subsidiary of Hoechst. In summary, both smallpox vaccine producers - Aventis and Baxter - share hideous legacies demanding caution, if not certain avoidance.
: : Please, for the sake of millions of people, public health, medical respectability, and the future of this great nation, DO NOT SUPPORT ANY POLICY REQUIRING FORCED SMALLPOX VACCINATIONS.
: : Sincerely yours,

: : : : for Mass Smallpox Vaccinations
: : : : Questions Raised on MEHPA
: : : : and Microbiologist Deaths
: : : :
: : : : by Joe Taglieri and Michael C. Ruppert
: : : :
: : : : Sept. 24, 2002, 19:00 PDT (FTW) - Federal officials today released a plan instructing states to deliver smallpox vaccinations should an outbreak occur due to a terrorist attack.
: : : : The plan details how states can inoculate up to one million people in 10 days after confirming only a single smallpox infection in the entire nation. Medical professionals, academics and state health officials have expressed doubts about the effectiveness, timing and costs of the plan issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
: : : : Dr. Len Horowitz, a healthcare researcher who recently authored a book on deadly viruses, noted the possibility of the Bush Administration using a biological attack to further an agenda of suppressing civil liberties.
: : : : "This is standard Machiavellian theory in practice," said Horowitz. "These political and public health problems are created to effect outcomes that have been prepared for in advance and are consistent with economic, political and ideological orientations consistent with population control, better known as genocide. In summary, it is managed chaos and very deadly."
: : : : According to press reports, the CDC's plan does not specifically say what kind of attack would warrant a nationwide vaccination program, nor does it specify who would issue the decision to begin one.
: : : : The CDC's vaccination guide also neglects to address the "vexing and politically delicate issue" of whether to vaccinate emergency personnel or public health workers, the New York Times reported. Health and human services secretary Tommy G. Thompson expects a decision from the White House on this by the end of September.
: : : : According to the Washington Post, the number of medical personnel to be vaccinated ranges from 20,000, as recommended by one CDC advisory panel, to another proposal's call for 500,000.
: : : : The plan does specify 75 million doses of the vaccine in the U.S. stockpile are to be delivered in one day and 280 million doses within one week.
: : : : It also provides guidelines for maintaining security and order at clinics in the event of an unruly, panic-stricken crowd, and advises on location and transportation issues. Busses or subways might transport people to shopping malls or sports arenas for vaccination, according to the CDC guide.
: : : : MORE BIOWARFARE DEVELOPMENTS
: : : : FTW's reporting on the mysterious post-9-11 deaths of 15 microbiologists, some of whom have done research on infectious diseases, has drawn the attention of and sometimes questionable rebuttals by major publications in the U.S. and Canada. The New York Times last month expended 7,800 words in an effort to explain away these recent deaths as coincidence.
: : : : However, the announcement of the government's ambiguously worded plan for voluntary smallpox inoculations provides more reason to question government motives in its support of the Model Emergency Health Powers Act (MEHPA). MEHPA has now been passed in 14 states, according to The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). [See FTW's previous reporting on this topic at http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/index.html#bio]
: : : : MEHPA makes it a criminal offense to refuse a state-ordered vaccination or medical procedure. In some states where it has already become law, refusing a compulsory vaccination is a felony. States have some leeway in determining the severity of the penalties, but in all cases the ac
