The United States has "saved" no one...we put this ridiculous image of ourselves out there as the good guys riding to the rescue...we serve our own interests first, like every other state ever did...even our "Foreign Aid" is just a way of winning influence and getting rid of surplus stuff...often the "money" we give comes right back because the receiver has to buy American.
Making us into the moral good guys is the flip side of our becomming the avengers of the world...which means we get to decide who deserves punishment...after all, haven't we given "So Much"?
These guys are scary...they see an evil Third World on principle...like the wino on the street is immoral and the poor person morally lax, or God would have smiled on his bank account...Calvinist Puritans is what these guys are...God "chooses" you...and you know you are chosen by god when you enjoy his favor ie...get rich.
They treat people they see as inherently inferior in demeaning ways and get hated right back...which "proves" to them that they were right along...it's called S-T-U-P-I-D.
