The beauty of our Constitution was that it did about all that can be done to make sure we don't have a Tyranny of the majority. What difference does it make if you have a King as a Tyrant...or a faction, even one in the majority.

The Russians traded their Czar for a Communist party made up of ten thousand tiny czars...what was the net gain?

Protection of the rights of the minority is the hallmark of any Democracy or Republican system. Why would you need to "protect" the majority...from whom...the minority?

That's something that completely eludes our savage brutes from Turkey and elsewhere...to them coming to America means FINALLY being able to deny free speech to others, THEY get to play censor now and spread disinformation without the chance to argue back...what they come here crying about... how they were persecuted in Syria and denied their rights to dissent openly without fear of sanction etc.

These patriots of ours bring the things they complain of here with them...and expect to prosper. fat chance.
