Yeah, you're right. It's all a damn racket. The noise from our government is drowning out the dying signals of freedom.
I don't care if there are feds out there waiting to snatch up someone w/ Iraqi heritage who speaks out in public places... slobbering over it b/c they win some raise in salary or promotion... I don't care. I'm going to challenge every person I meet who is pro-war. Not in a mean way - that'll just make them mad & not want to listen - but in a convincing & gentle way - which shouldn't be hard to do, seeing as the facts are in my favor. Maybe I should start carrying all those damned papers around w/ me - hard copies of the incriminating stuff you can pull off the web that come from the DoD, etc. & pictures of the sick & dying in Iraq & bombed places, or charts w/ statistics on them, showing what's different about Iraq before the Gulf "war," after the "war," & how the situation in post-war Iraq compares to the average daily life of someone in the US. Those make for good, convincing visual aids...
