Someone just spoke to Nimrod a few days ago about getting out of the way and allowing the city of Chicago to install the Shumirum Monument...the one he didn't give a dime for...but others paid $200,000 for.
Six months ago another someone contacted Nimrod about the same thing...and two years ago Jackie and I had a meeting with Nimrod over the same issue. For all these years he's been saying he'd just call the Mayor of Chicago up for a cup of coffee and a chat...at which time he and the mayor would solve this little problem.
I've even heard him say on the phone that he's made the appointment...should be any day now. Same thing he just said a few days ago...same thing he'll say till he drops dead...which should be any day now.
The AUA has just bought a building...it's supposedly going to be grand and glorious...though I know it will be cheap and tawdry. His fantasy has been to place the Shumirum at the new buiding...one of those "aquisitions" of other people's property he loves to make.
It's what people do...not what they claim.
