Again, no surprises here.... the UN is a self-serving, impotent organisation THAT DOES NOT WANT SADDAM ousted; why would they? From the lowest rank and file members to Kofi Beans they are all well salaried and setting pretty..... spoke to a high ranking guy in Arbil: he freely admitted the same; said Saddam will NOT go out in a war but the whole thing will fizzle out slowly over 6 years. With a salary of $US250,000 tax free/year - all paid from Food-for-Oil, "Assyrian" Oil - I would flick through the paper-work REEEEEAALLy slowly too.. [just to make enough time to pay off my villa in Mar Bella..] It's an old trick of 'publicly funded' organisations, .... you know, you put what's in the In-tray on the Out-tray, an orderly picks up the out-tray stuff, the paperwork gets lost for three days then eventually gets back to you... I'm sure there's plenty of that in the UN... prolonging the whole thing while the UN accounts continue to swell.
