So what's the core of this argument?

We both don't think genes make you Assyrian and we discount religion. What we don't agree on is the value of talking.

By merely saying you have a link...when all you have to show for it is TALKING about a link...a link that turns out to be Christian exclusively...proves nothing.

The people of Iraq today are not bombing Iraq...they are not imposing Sanctions on themselves. The people of Iraq, without even knowing it, or having to know...are preserving the treasures of Ashur and Nebukhadnazzar...and Haroun. What does it matter what link they have to anything? Their proof is in what they do. Christians in America spend far more to maintain American culture than they do Assyrian culture. As it should be...and Iraqis are spending a lot more of everything to preserve and protect and enhance the Assyrian heritage and culture...while allowing Christians to co-exist...if they'll stop getting other Christians to bomb their homes.

What does it matter that John Nimrod or Jackie Bejan call themselves Assyrians? What Assyrian would threaten to sue the city of Chicago for installing our monument...what Assyrian uses their libido to set national policy?

Assyrians in the West are Christian..they think Christian, they DO Christian...they BUILD there aren't enough friggin Christians already.

That link you all talk about is doing not a damn thing for us...the ACTIONS of the Iraqi antiquities department, which gets its funding from the doing far more for the Assyrians heritage than the Christian in America who spend their money to send bombs and poison to Iraq.
