: : You know how it's supposed to be that one is "innocent until proven guilty" in this country? It's now as if one (w/in certain ethnic groups) is treated as guilty until proven innocent!
: +++So what's new? Americans insist we be presumed right. I know what you're saying...and we all know what's what.
xxx You're beginning to sound rather fatalistic to me. Why can't US citizens who are Assyrian & otherwise from Arab-speaking countries set a precedent for once? Why can't we affect change & put an end to this blasted racist policy of racial profiling? If we can stop the US gov't from allowing racial profiling of its Assyrian & Arab-American citizens, then this would help to stop the racial profiling of other minorities as well - African-American, Asian-American, Russian-American, etc. Why do we just complain of it & not act? We are citizens & the Constitution is ours as well. Why not join the fight to make an end to racial profiling official on a national level? The feds should only be going after those people they have specific evidence for... & this is not happening.
